What admissions and registry teams send
The core items are the diploma, the not dökümü, and for credit transfer and exemptions the ders içerikleri, which are long and are the reason a transcript job turns into a substantial one. Foundation and college entries bring lise diplomaları and exam results. Institutions with partners in Türkiye send memoranda of understanding, articulation agreements and marketing material into Turkish.
What a translation can and cannot tell you
A translation renders the document; it does not verify it, and it does not convert grades. Turkish transcripts commonly carry both a four-point GPA and a 100-point scale, and we reproduce both without recalculating either. Where a qualification needs a formal comparison, that is UK ENIC’s function, described on translations for a UK ENIC statement of comparability; Turkish is not among the languages ENIC waives, so a translation is needed there too. Applicants cannot translate their own documents for admissions purposes, which is worth stating on your own guidance page because it saves a round of correspondence every cycle.
Deadlines drive everything
Clearing, confirmation and visa timetables leave no slack, so we quote against your date rather than a generic turnaround. A single diploma and transcript is normally back within one to two working days; a set of course descriptions running to fifty sheets needs planning, and we will tell you the honest date at the quote stage. Institutions running volume through a cycle set a page rate and a single contact in advance terms we agree with you in writing before the first job, with invoices to the department and a purchase order reference where finance requires one. Colleges and foundation providers usually send several short documents for one applicant at once; those are handled as a single job with one quote and one invoice rather than priced document by document, which is quicker for everybody.
Indicative prices
Turkish into English is from £10.00 per 1,000-character page, certification included, no UK VAT charged. A diploma is usually a single page at £10.00; a four-year transcript is three to six pages, so £30–60; course descriptions for a full degree can run past thirty pages and are quoted from the file. English into Turkish, for partner agreements and prospectus material, starts at £6.50 per page.
Frequently asked questions
Can you confirm a Turkish document is genuine?
No. We translate what is in front of us and describe the seals and signatures on it. Verification is for the issuing institution, YÖK or a verification service.
Do you convert Turkish grades to a UK classification?
No. We reproduce the scales as printed. Comparison is UK ENIC’s job, and academic judgement is yours.
Can an applicant’s translation be certified by you?
Only after we have checked it in full, which is charged. In practice retranslating is usually quicker and no dearer.
Do you work to a purchase order?
Yes. Quotes reference the PO, invoices are issued to the department, and monthly consolidated billing is available.
