How it works
Four steps from your photo or scan to a certified translation: send your document, receive a fixed quote, we translate and certify, you receive a PDF and, if you choose, a hard copy by courier.
Step 1: send your document
Use the quote form or WhatsApp to send a photo or scan of every page, including the back of each page and any stamps or annotations. A phone photo is fine if it is sharp, straight and shows the whole page.
Tell us three things: what the translation is for (for example a spouse visa, a first British passport, UK ENIC, a Turkish consulate registration), the deadline, and whether you need a hard copy. This lets us apply the right format and quote the right turnaround.
Step 2: receive a fixed quote
We count the characters in the document and send you a quote by e-mail, usually within a few working hours. The quote shows the number of pages, the price per page, any notarisation, apostille or courier charges, the turnaround and the delivery method. No UK VAT is charged. See prices and turnaround.
To go ahead, accept the quote and pay through the order page. If you ask us to start within your 14-day cancellation period, you confirm this when you order.
Step 3: we translate and certify
A translator sworn before a notary public in Türkiye translates the whole document, including stamps, seals and handwriting. A second linguist checks the translation against the original for accuracy, completeness and the spelling of names and dates. We then lay out the translation to mirror the original, attach a copy of the original, and add the signed and dated certification statement.
For documents going to Türkiye, we take the translation to a notary public in Ankara for attestation and, if you ordered it, obtain the apostille from the district governor's office (kaymakamlık). This adds 1 to 3 working days.
Step 4: receive your translation
You receive the certified translation as a PDF by e-mail. Most UK bodies accept a PDF uploaded to an online application or printed by you. If you ordered a hard copy, we sign it in ink and send it by DHL or UPS from Ankara; it arrives in 2 to 4 working days with tracking. We do not offer collection. See delivery options.
After delivery
Check the names, dates and numbers in the translation as soon as you receive it and tell us if anything needs attention. If a receiving body rejects the translation because of its format, we re-issue it free of charge. Read our accuracy and acceptance policy.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I get a quote?
Usually within a few working hours during Turkish office hours. Documents sent overnight UK time are quoted the next morning.
Can I send a photo taken with my phone?
Yes, as long as every part of the page is visible and readable. Take the photo straight on, in good light, and include the back of the page if there is anything on it. Read how to send your documents.
What if my document has an unusual name spelling?
Tell us how your name is spelt in your passport or in the UK application. We use that spelling in the translation and note the original where the two differ, so the receiving body can match the documents.
Do you need the original for a notarised translation in Türkiye?
For most documents the notary attests the translation on the basis of a copy, and the apostille is attached to the notarised translation. If a specific Turkish authority requires the original, we tell you at the quote stage.
