Our team and quality process
Translators sworn before a notary public in Türkiye, a second-linguist check of every translation, a fixed process from assignment to certification, and confidentiality by contract. No named list, by design.
Who translates your documents
Our translators are professionals who have taken the translator's oath before a notary public in Türkiye (noter yeminli tercüman) and who have worked with us, in most cases, for years. Each works in a defined pair and direction. Turkish civil registry, court and academic documents into English are handled by translators who do this daily; UK certificates, court orders and academic documents into Turkish by translators who know how Turkish notaries, courts and registries expect them to read.
In-house staff in Ankara manage each order, check the incoming images, assign the work, carry out the final checks and sign the certification statement.
Why we do not publish names
We work with freelance translators as well as staff, and they have not agreed to have their names published on a website. What matters for the receiving body is on the document: the certification statement carries the full name and signature of the person certifying on behalf of the company, together with our registration details. The quality process
- Intake. A member of staff checks that every page is present and legible and that we know the purpose, the deadline and the spelling of names. Problems are raised with you before work starts.
- Translation. One translator translates the whole document, including stamps, seals, handwriting and annotations. Turkish terms with no English equivalent are given in English with the Turkish term in brackets.
- Revision. A second linguist compares the translation with the original line by line: completeness, meaning, names, dates, numbers, registry references.
- Layout and consistency check. Staff check that the layout mirrors the original, that names match the passport spelling you gave us, and that the terminology matches any earlier translations we made for you.
- Certification. The certification statement is added, signed and dated, and the PDF is produced. For documents going to Türkiye, the translation goes to the notary and, if ordered, to the apostille office.
The two-person model of translation plus independent revision is what ISO 17100 requires. We follow it; we have not had it certified. See proofreading and revision for the same service applied to translations made elsewhere.
Confidentiality
Everyone who sees your document, staff and freelancers alike, is bound by a written confidentiality agreement. Files are shared through our own systems, not by personal e-mail or messaging apps, and are deleted from translators' devices when the job is closed. We delete uploaded documents and translations from our systems 30 days after delivery. Read confidentiality and data protection.
Learning from feedback
Every rejection, correction and complaint is logged with its cause. When a body asks for a change in format, we update the template for that body, so the next customer benefits. Read our accuracy and acceptance policy.

Frequently asked questions
Are your translators qualified?
Yes. To be sworn before a Turkish notary a translator must prove their language qualification, usually a university degree in the language or in translation. We also test translators on real documents before they work for us.
Is the same translator used for all my documents?
Where possible, yes, and we keep a record of the names and terms used in earlier translations so that a set of documents is consistent.
Do you use machine translation?
Not for certified documents. Certified translations are made by a translator and revised by a second linguist. For large business projects we offer machine translation post-editing as a separate, clearly labelled service.
Can I speak to the translator?
Questions about a translation go through our staff, who put them to the translator and reply to you. This keeps the record complete and protects the translator's privacy.
