Answers about how we price: the 1,000-character page, per-direction rates, economy and fast tiers, what is included, VAT, and the separate costs for notarisation, apostille and courier.
Our prices are simple to predict because they rest on one unit: a page of 1,000 characters of source text, excluding spaces. Turkish to English is from £10.00 per page and English to Turkish from £6.50, with certification included and no UK VAT charged. Economy is 20 % less and doubles the turnaround; fast is 60 % more and halves it. Notarisation in Ankara, a Turkish apostille and a courier copy are priced separately and shown on the quote. How much does a certified translation of a Turkish birth certificate cost?
A Turkish birth certificate or Formül A extract is under 1,000 characters, so it is one page: £10.00 at the standard tier, certification included, delivered as a PDF. A nüfus kayıt örneği is usually one to three pages, so £10.00 to £30.00. A diploma is one page, a transcript three to six.
What is a “page” in your pricing?
1,000 characters of the source text, not counting spaces. Anything shorter counts as one page; longer documents are rounded up to the next whole page. It is roughly 140–160 Turkish words or 180–210 English words. A UK agency's 250-word page is about 1.5–1.7 of ours. Details: how page and word counts work.
Why are Turkish to English and English to Turkish priced differently?
Translation into Turkish is done by native Turkish translators in Ankara at Turkish market rates, from £6.50 per page. Translation into English adds an English-side review before certification, which is reflected in the £10.00 rate. Both directions include the second-linguist revision and the certification statement, so the difference is purely the cost of the extra English review.
Is certification included, or is it extra?
Included. Every translation comes with the certification statement, signature, date, company details and stamp at no extra charge, whichever tier you choose. Some UK agencies add £15–25 per certificate, which can double the cost of a one-page document; we do not, and there is no charge for a second copy of the PDF either.
Do you charge VAT?
No UK VAT is charged on our invoices. We are a Turkish company and our prices are shown as the amount you pay. If our VAT position changes we will update the pricing page and quotes will show it clearly.
What do economy and fast cost?
Economy is 20 % below the standard rate (£8.00 and £5.20 per page) with double the turnaround, and suits applications that are still weeks away. Fast is 60 % above (£16.00 and £10.40) with half the turnaround, and same-day for short documents confirmed by 11:00 UK time. The quality process is the same at every tier; only the queue position changes.
How much is a notarised translation for Türkiye?
The translation is priced per page as usual. The Turkish notary's tariff is then passed through at cost, roughly £12–15 per page in 2026 depending on the exchange rate, plus a £5 service fee. The exact notary amount is on the quote. An apostille on the notarised translation, if the receiving office wants one, is £15.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes. The price on the quote is what you pay unless you add documents or change the tier after accepting it. If our character count turns out to be too high once the translation is finished, you pay the lower amount and we refund the difference. There are no surcharges for stamps, handwriting or subject matter.
Do you offer discounts for several documents?
Each document is counted separately at the per-page rate, and most certificates are one page, so a set of five typical documents is around £50. Economy is the built-in discount for orders that are not urgent. Business clients with regular volume can ask about account terms.
