Most of our Turkish to English work is for people living in the UK who need a Turkish document read by a British institution: a spouse or partner visa file, a child’s first British passport, a degree recognition, a professional registration, a court case, a mortgage application. The rest is for solicitors, universities, NHS trusts and companies dealing with Turkish counterparts. In both cases the reader is in the UK, so the translation is certified to the gov.uk certification standard and written in British English.
Document families
- Civil status: nüfus kayıt örneği (civil registry extract), birth, marriage, death and single-status certificates, ID card, passport, divorce decrees with the kesinleşme şerhi (finality endorsement).
- Criminal record: adli sicil kaydı for Skilled Worker applicants and partners, including e-Devlet and e-Apostil versions.
- Education: lise diploması, university diplomas, transcripts, diploma supplements, course descriptions for UK ENIC, UCAS and regulators.
- Work and money: SGK hizmet dökümü, payslips, employment letters, bank statements, tax certificates, pension statements, tapu title deeds and valuation reports.
- Legal: court judgments, summonses and petitions, custody and maintenance orders, vekaletname (power of attorney), veraset ilamı (certificate of inheritance), wills.
- Company: trade registry gazette, certificate of activity, signature circular, articles of association, invoices, certificates of origin.
- Medical: epikriz (discharge summary), heyet raporu (medical board report), prescriptions, vaccination records.

What makes Turkish to English work different
Turkish documents are dense with stamps, registry numbers and formulaic headings, and much of what a UK caseworker needs is in those margins. We translate every stamp, seal and annotation, keep the layout close to the original so that fields can be matched line by line, and render Turkish characters in names exactly as they appear (Şükrü stays Şükrü, not Sukru) with a transliteration note where a UK form cannot take them. Dates are written out to avoid day–month confusion, and Turkish legal and administrative terms follow our published style guide, so that “nüfus müdürlüğü” is always “civil registry office” and “kesinleşme şerhi” is always “certificate of finality”. E-Devlet documents are translated with their barcode and verification code so the reader can check them online.
Price and turnaround
From £10.00 per page, where a page is 1,000 characters of Turkish source text; anything shorter counts as one page. A one-page birth certificate or diploma is £10; a nüfus kayıt örneği is usually one to three pages; a divorce decree four to ten. Certification is included. Economy service is 20% less at double the turnaround; express is 60% more at half. Standard delivery is 1–2 working days for up to five pages, longer files by agreement. No UK VAT is charged. Who accepts it
Accepted to date by UKVI, HM Passport Office, register offices, UK ENIC, UCAS, the GMC, NMC, GDC and GPhC, family and civil courts, the probate registry, HM Land Registry, HMRC, DWP, banks, mortgage lenders, landlords, employers and insurers. Where a body publishes its own wording we quote it on the relevant page and match it.
How to send documents
Scan or photograph every page, including the back of ID cards and any page with a stamp, and upload through the quote form or WhatsApp. Blurry corners are the commonest cause of delay. You keep the original; the receiving body will usually want to see it alongside the translation.

Frequently asked questions
Do you translate Formül A or B multilingual extracts?
Yes, and you will need it. The UK is not a party to the convention behind those extracts, so UK bodies treat them as Turkish documents and expect a certified English translation.
My document is from e-Devlet. Is that a problem?
No. We translate the document together with its barcode and verification code. Most UK bodies accept e-Devlet documents; see are e-Devlet documents accepted in the UK?
How do you write my name if it has ş, ğ or ı?
Exactly as on the document, with a bracketed transliteration if the receiving form cannot take Turkish characters. We match the spelling in your passport where the two differ.
Can you translate only part of a long document?
For court files and academic transcripts, yes, as an extract clearly marked as partial. UKVI and most regulators want complete translations of the documents they list, so ask before ordering an extract.
