Royal Mail Special Delivery prices for hard copies
Most UK bodies take a signed and stamped PDF. Where a wet-ink copy is genuinely needed, there are two ways to get one, and the postage price is the part that moves each spring.
Ask whether you need paper at all
The default we deliver is a PDF carrying our stamp, signature and certification page, and it is accepted by the Home Office, UK ENIC, universities, most regulators and most solicitors. Paper is worth paying for when a court, a registrar or a foreign authority has said in terms that it wants an original. It is not worth paying for because paper feels safer.
The two routes
The first is international courier from our office in Ankara, at £30, taking two to four working days. This is the one to use when the paper copy has to carry a Turkish notary's seal or an apostille, because those exist only on the physical document. The second is a UK print partner: we send the file, they print, sign the certification page and post it, at £8. That is cheaper and faster within the UK, and it suits a plain certified translation where nothing Turkish has to be stamped onto the sheet.
