People rarely arrive knowing they need a vukuatlı registry extract. They arrive knowing they want to bring a spouse to Britain, register a baby, or have a degree recognised. This tool starts from the purpose and works backwards to the paperwork.
What the finder does
Pick a purpose and it lists the documents that procedure usually calls for, notes the form each should take — long form or short, how recent, apostilled or not — and marks which need translating and in which direction. Each entry links to the page for that document and to the checklist behind it.
Where the lists come from
They are drawn from the published requirements of the receiving bodies, from the checklists on this site, and from the files we handle. Every checklist names its source and the date we checked it, so you can see whether a rule has been verified against the authority's own words or is our summary of common practice. Nothing here is invented to fill a gap: where a requirement is uncertain, the checklist says so.
What the result means, and what it does not
It is a starting list, not an instruction. Requirements change — visa financial thresholds, consular practice and recognition rules have all moved in the last two years — and your circumstances can add documents that no general list anticipates. Read the authority's current guidance, which each checklist links to, before you commission translations. Frequently asked questions
How current are the requirement lists?
Each underlying checklist carries the date we last checked it against the authority's own guidance. Treat anything older than a few months as a prompt to look at the source page, which is linked from every checklist.
My situation is not on the list. What then?
Send us a short description through the quote form. We will tell you what we have seen for similar files and, where the answer is genuinely a legal one, say that plainly rather than guess.
Does the finder tell me whether my application will succeed?
No. It deals only with documents and translation. Whether an application meets the substantive requirements is a matter for the deciding body and, if the case is complicated, for a regulated adviser.
