How we handle cookies after the 2026 ICO guidance
We reviewed this site's cookies against the Information Commissioner's Office guidance. The short answer: a session cookie that keeps your quote and basket together, analytics only if you say yes, and no advertising cookies at all.
What we set
Two things, and only two. A session cookie holds your quote and any uploaded file together while you move between the calculator, the order form and payment; without it the basket empties on every page. That one is strictly necessary and is set whatever you choose, which the rules permit. Everything else is analytics, and it is set only after you press accept.
How the banner behaves
Refusing takes one click, in the same place and the same size as accepting. There is no pre-ticked box, no wall that hides the page until you decide, and no second banner a week later if you said no. You can change your mind from the cookies page at any time, and withdrawing consent clears what was set. We do not run advertising or profiling cookies, so there is no third-party network reading your visit.
Why UK rules apply to a company in Ankara
Because the site is aimed at people in the United Kingdom. The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations govern what may be stored on a device here regardless of where the operator sits, and UK data protection law reaches an overseas company offering services to people in the UK. We treat both as binding rather than optional, and the same reasoning applies to how we hold the documents you send us.
