The paid-military-service fee for Turkish citizens abroad is 472,653.60 TL for the second half of 2026, about €8,822, up from 333,890 TL in the first half. The qualifying conditions are unchanged.
The figure for the second half of 2026
Dövizle askerlik is priced as a euro amount and reset twice a year. The first half of 2026 was set at 333,890 TL; the second half is 472,653.60 TL, which comes out at roughly €8,822. The climb has been steep — around €6,700 in 2025 and €8,125 in April 2026 — so a deferment taken now costs more later. Payment is made in euros at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye rate applying on the day.
The conditions have not moved
Only the price changes; the qualifying rules stay put. You need 1,095 days abroad with work or residence status, and you must apply before you turn 35. Spending more than six months in Türkiye in a calendar year eats into the count. Turkish citizens who have held British citizenship from birth qualify on three years of residence rather than 1,095 days. Basic training is completed remotely.

Does the fee change again in January?
It is normally reset for each half-year, so expect a new figure for the first half of 2027. Ask the consulate for the amount in force on the day you pay rather than the one you were quoted when you started.
